Marriage Equality Celebration
Hundreds gathered at the Capitol Plaza Hotel In Montpelier Thursday night, April 30, to celebrate the recent passing of the Marriage Equality Bill. Those attending included state legislators, Vt. Freedom To Marry staff and their army of volunteers and then hundreds of supporters-Gay and Straight-from around the state. It was an evening of love and gratitude for all who has helped in the fight for civil rights for LGBT Vermonters.
Also, presented that night was this commemorative poster below, which is made up of some of the hundeds of photos I shot over the last few months during the fight for marraige equality. To order a poster (ALL proceeds go to Vt. Freedom To Marry), go to their website. Suggested donation: $20.
